The vicissitudes of life in this palace of weaving looms, knitting supplies and yarn. There is fiber everywhere, needles too, books, patterns and, of course, my weaving equipment. Small projects in my purse, larger ones alongside the tv or in my loom room, our beautiful sunroom/studio which is filled with, you guessed it, more yarn, more tools and my looms. I do have some sense of organization, but my mind and hands call out for yarn and thoughts of fiber whereever I am. I walk and knit, and even brush my teeth while browsing catalogs or books (2 minutes brushing shouldn't be wasted staring at my teeth in the mirror!)

My current goals include finishing several works in progress. In the past week, I have completed four baby hats from Artyarns Ultramerino 6 and Koigu, and a small ribbed purse using Artyarns Supermerino, one handwoven prayershawl, and matching bag and plan to complete a felted bag. Still to go: 3 lace projects, an afghan for my brother. Lots of yarn waiting in the wings. So I will keep you posted and provide photos. Here is the completed and original "Half Moon Felted Tote"
