Finished Afghan
It's finally done. After literally months of work (well, ok, I didn't work on it constantly and I had a few false starts), I have completed my brother's afghan. To say it was a labor of love is an understatement, it was a labor of love. What other reason could I have possibly thought of to knit 12 huge squares in brown and black wool . Ever try knitting in black wool for more than a couple of minutes, think again. It is no easy task. And in the end, the patterns done in the black wool look best. Will I do this again, never, well, maybe but not in black and I will choose my patterns carefully, using only those where I think the pattern is both interesting and a quick knit. I hate to part with the darn thing now. It is soft and cozy. I hope he likes it.
