TNNA

some sightings at TNNA 2010 Columbus, Ohio Above at the Ravelry party, right: luscious and soft Prism Lace Below: miKNITures, handknitted jewelry by Pavia Lewis

Just returned from TNNA in Columbus. Besides the utter joy of being around so much beautiful yarn , it always provides a shot of energy to be amidst all of these people who share my love of all things fiber related. Seeing so many beautiful yarns, tools and colors stirred up my creative juices and sent me home with more and more ideas for knitting and crochet and for professional pursuits as yet still simmering in my head.

Impossible to list it all,l but I loved all the new designs at Be Sweet and some awesome new yarns there. Aslan Trends gorgeous palette of baby royal alpaca, Zealana , Spud and Chloe and fascinated and thrilled to have spent time with Juanita and Lisa of Misti International discussing their gorgeous new Best of Nature colors of chunky alpaca.

Loved meeting all the folks at Ravelry too. It's great to see so many young fiber lovers too. All in all I had a great time. Our flight was canceled on our return trip so we chose to drive home rather than wait for then next available flight 2 days hence. 600 miles and some 12 hours later I was home and no worse for wear- enjoyed the companionship of three other knitters and got to do alot of knitting when I wasn't needed to drive.
